Point was missing retaining wire from underneath which holds point assembly. Point was buckled in centre but managed to straighten it out and made a new wire. Didbt return to seller as it was needed urgently fir a show layout..
The item was delivered promptly from Dream Steam, but the Parcel Force courier delivered it to the wrong sorting office so delivery was delayed by a couple of days. The item was packaged well and was well constructed. However, when discarding the bubble wrap packaging there was a sharp piece of thin wire which stabbed me in the thumb. Not sure if this wire was part of the point or was just trapped in the bubble wrap by mistake. I have sent photos to Dream Steam for their advice. Other than that would have scored 5. Have always enjoyed excellent service from Dream Steam in the past.
