Topping off the chimney with this solid brass small cowl really adds a nice finishing touch to your loco. Just fits tightly on the top of the chimney with a few light taps with a rubber hammer or piece of wood.
After a little judicious filing of the chimney top this finial / ferrule was a nice interference fit. It looks very smart and matches in with the standard bright brasswork
